buildingSMART Canada (bSC) is pleased to announce its partnership with GoGeomatics Canada to host the bSC Annual Summit during Canada’s National Geomatics Expo, taking place from October 28th to 30th in Calgary, Alberta.

This year’s summit will bring together professionals from the architecture, engineering, construction, and operation (AECO) industries, as well as leaders in geomatics, to explore the integration of building information modeling (BIM) and geospatial technologies. The collaboration highlights a shared commitment to advancing digital transformation and innovation across related sectors. Importantly bSC continues to engage the wider geomatics sector to raise the awareness of BIM and GIS interoperability and the future of digital twins. Being held in western Canada for the first time the bSC Annual Summit acts as a catalyst for growth, innovation, and collaboration in Canada’s AEC industry, helping to drive the adoption and sophisticated use of BIM technologies across the sector.

The summit will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops led by industry experts. It aims to provide insights into the latest trends and technologies influencing both the geomatics and AECO sectors.
